Bio

Coach Solomon Adesola Jacobs is coming into this season as a second-year soccer coach with Camden County College women’s soccer program. He enters his first season as an assistant coach to veteran Coach John Gallagher who retired from the program after 20 years with Camden County College women's soccer program. Coach Solomon experience includes soccer semi-pro player/goalkeeper for 12 years. Previous coaching experience includes Girls Soccer Coach with Academy of Our Lady of Peace San Diego California, Head Girls Soccer Coach with New Hope-Solebury School District  PA, Soccer Support Specialist/Coach with Philadelphia Union Soccer School PA, and boys soccer coach with Shipley school PA and Harrison Soccer Club NJ. Coach Solomon educational background consists B.sc in Information Technology, Master of Business Administration, and currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education-Higher Education. He is currently a Computer Information Systems Adjunct Professor at Camden County College.

As a new head coach, he is introducing “attractive” and fundamental soccer playing styles, which will continue to develop the style of the game of future players. He will lead and encourage each player to reach their full potential, teach the team the value of respect, care, responsibility, honesty and ability to uphold the tradition of “winning” both in the classroom and on the field of play. With successful implementation, each player will play as part of a unit and will cooperate with teammates to achieve the objectives for a given task, session or game, as well as for the entire season. Coach Solomon primary goal is to achieve better overall results than last season.  His focus and target are to improve the tactical, technical and physical abilities of the team to reach the set goals and help students meet their specific needs to ensure opportunities for a successful learning experience and achievement of academic excellence. Recruiting and retaining student-athletes is very important, will be ready to step in and assist any player who needs help.
