The Cougars fresh off their Spring Training trip in which they went 6-2 on, faced off with the #9 NJCAA Nationally Ranked Blue Colts of Middlessex CC in a Region XIX showdown. Sophomore Pitcher Tyler Fletcher took the mound for the Cougars and went 6 innings followed by Freshman Philip Gannon who closed out the final 3 innings. Going into the top of the 5th the Blue colts showed why they were the #9 ranked team in the country as they led the Cougs 5-2, but between the 5th and the 6th inning the Cougars put 2 runs on the board to close the gap to 5-4. In the top of the 7th inning the Cougars would put 3 more on the board to take a 7-5 lead and never look back as they would cruze to a 15-7 win. Sophomore second baseman Dante Serchia would hit a 2 run bomb in the 8th which put the nail in the coffin.

The Cougars will have no time to rest as they hit the road Wednesday to face Valley Forge MC. They will be home on Thursday to face the #7 Nationally ranked Spartans of Northampton CC! Currently, the Cougs are 12-3 on the year, 2-0 in Region XIX and are receiving votes in the latest NJCAA DIII National Rankings!
