MENS SOCCER WELCOMES HEAD COACH DAN KEEFE

Blackwood, NJ- Camden County College is proud to announce the hiring of Dan Keefe as the Men's Soccer Head Coach for the 2025 season. Cougar Athletics is confident in Keefe's ability to take the program to new heights.

"I'd like to thank Athletic Director Fred Carella and the entire administration for entrusting me to take over the men's soccer program at Camden County College. The rich history, and strong reputation within the soccer world immediately drew me to the school. I'm hopeful we can build off of the foundation that has been laid, and take the program and school to new heights" said Dan Keefe. 

Keefe is joining us following a lengthy career on the pitch. Notably, Keefe has been coaching for over a decade amongst many levels of the game. At the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Dan Keefe took charge of the Bobcats and led their program as Head Coach for four years. Keefe then went on to coordinate recruiting and assist in coaching in 2018 at Division II Lincoln Memorial University and in 2021 as the Director of Operations at Division I Rider University. Most recently Keefe took the reigns as Head Coach at Doane Academy from 2021-23 and then as Head Coach at Camden Catholic in 2024.

Keefe is currently Assistant Coach for the Philadelphia Spartans of the Major Arena Soccer League III, Head Coach for Players Development Academy (PDA) overseeing multiple age groups, and Head Coach of the PDA National Premier Soccer League team (first ever PDA NPSL team beginning summer 2025).

Camden Athletics believes Coach Keefe's outlook on coaching will make an impact on Cougar Nation. Keefe added, " I believe it is important to build character on the field that will translate off the field. Success can be defined in different ways. The key is to find triumphs during tough times, and identify how we can get better during the good times. Ultimately, it must be a collective effort from the entire group, that's how we get better as a whole".
