After a successful 2017-18 season the Lady Cougars saw the core group of Sophomores graduate including the NJCAA Division III National Leader in steals per game Asya Alba who now plays at Arcadia University and Forward Layne Olsen who averaged a double-double and helped the Lady Cougars reach a National Ranking as high as #7 for NJCAA DIII. This year the Lady Cougars only returned 2 Sophomores in Olivia Pierman and Caitlyn Hamberger. With a young heavily rostered Freshmen Team it has been a struggle compared to last year.
On Saturday the Lady Cougars picked up their second win of the year with a hard fought 48-44 win on the road against the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College. It was a complete team effort in picking up the win on the road. The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday, January 29th as they take along trip to face Luzerne CCC at pm.
