The Lady Cougars who trailed by three points with 1:04 left on the clock, tied it up with a top of the key 3-pointer by freshman Lexi Kasprzak. Lexi wasn't finished, as she stole a pass with 49 seconds left in the game and drove in for the go ahead layup. Lexi led the Cougars with a career high 39 points. The Cougars also got help from Sophomore Tori Murphy who chipped in with 9 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. With an overall record of 3-6 and two wins in the last three games, the Cougars are showing some strides in the right direction.

We are getting small contributions from everyone. Even though Lexi and Tori are the main scorers on the team, we will only be successful if we continue to get a strong team effort, Coach Reitano said.
