The Lady Cougars Freshman Guard Alexys Kasprzak who had a sensational first year was named to the NJCAA Region XIX 3rd Team. Kasprzak played in 21 games making 19 starts in her first year with the Lady Cougars. She poured in 456 total points for an average of 21.7 ppg which ranks her 16th in the country. She shot an amazing 40.6% from the field and 35.7% from long range in her first collegiate season. Alexys did more than just put the ball in the basket for the Lady Cougars as she also averaged 5.4 rpg, 2.8 apg and 2.7 spg. Alexys freshman basketball season may be over but she will also be competing on the Lady Cougars Softball Team this Spring and we look forward to seeing what she does on the diamond this Spring.
