The meet featured Division III Universities and NJCAA junior colleges from the New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey area.
The men's 8k had Chris Townsend place 46th in the team standings with a time of 31:42*, he was followed in by Luke Andrzejewski 33:18*(56th), Anthony Chase 34:22*(59th), Alexis Fernandez 36:22*(65th), and Alex Goodkind 37:53*(74th). The Cougars next competition will be on Saturday October 6th in the Blue and Gold Invitational hosted by Delaware University. The women's 6k will go off at 10:00am, followed by the men's 8k at 10:30am. The race site is located at the White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, Delaware. This will also be the the site for the NJCAA Region XIX Championships, that will be held on Sunday October 28th. Please come out and show your support for cross country Cougars!
