Cross Country Runs at Bryn Mawr

The Camden County College cross country program returned to action after a two year hiatus.The Cougars women's team competed in the Bryn Mawr Invitational 5k on September 2, 2021 at Rose Tree Park in Media Pa. The meet featured division III colleges and universities from southern New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Camden County College was the only junior college in attendance.

 

The Cougars sent out a full team and finished 5th in the team scoring. There were numerous 4 year schools competing with less than 5 runners.

Freshmen Ariana Tait (Eastern Reg.HS) lead the way by placing 22nd in the team scoring with a time of 26:43. She was followed by freshmen Rylie Mansfield (Sterling HS) 23rd, Natalie Rehn (Haddon Heights HS) 24th, Rita Alphonsus (Williamstown HS) 30th, and sophomore Elizabeth Santana (Cherry Hill West HS) 31st.

The next race for the Lady Cougars will be September 10, 2021 at the Osprey Memorial at Stockton University, in Galloway Township, NJ. The women's 5k goes off at 5:00pm.
