Right-handed freshman pitcher Jimmy Staepel played a key role in both victories, closing out each game to earn a pair of saves. On the offensive side, Ethan Arter led the way, being on base 5 times, collecting three hits, 4 stolen bases and driving in two runs to power the Cougars’ lineup.
