Bio

Chip Reitano is entering his 10th season as the Head Coach of the Cougar’s Softball Program in 2026 and has 107 career wins with the Lady Cougars. Coach Reitano has an extensive background in Softball at the high school varsity level and Men's fastpitch level in Pennsylvania, as well as the junior level in South Jersey. He has 344 total career victories, seven championships and has been runner-up four times.

He has also served as the President of the Somerdale Baseball & Softball Association for 10 years. Coach Reitano also served as the Region XIX Coaches Association Communication Coordinator for three years, as well as the a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association ethics committee for three years.

In his first season, Coach Reitano led the Lady Cougars to their most wins since the 2008-2009 season. Over the next two seasons, Coach Chip guided the 2017 and 2018 Lady Cougars to the Region XIX Championship Series and most recently, finished as the Region XIX runner-up in 2021. In the 2025 season, the Cougars advanced to the quarter-final round of the Region XIX playoffs. We look forward to continued success under Coach Reitano's leadership.

Coach Reitano is also the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Camden County College.
