Cougars win three on opening weekend

Camden County College's baseball team had an exciting opening weekend, showcasing both resilience and skill. The Cougars kicked off their season against Genesee CC (NY) with a tough start, dropping the first game of a doubleheader (13-7) on Saturday. Despite the setback, the team bounced back with determination, winning the second game of the day, (7-4) proving their potential. The Cougars carried that momentum into Sunday, where they faced off against Rosemont College's JV team. With strong pitching and timely hitting, Camden swept the doubleheader, winning both games comfortably (3-1) (12-5) capping off a successful opening weekend with three wins and just one loss. Next up, the Cougars squad will host RCSJ Gloucester on Friday at 2 p.m. and travel there for a DH Saturday starting at 12 p.m.
