Cougars Baseball Takes Series Against Montgomery County Community College
The Cougars baseball team secured a series win over Montgomery County Community College with dominant performances in the first two games before falling in the finale. In Game 1, the Cougars came out strong, cruising to a 13-1 victory behind a stellar complete-game pitching performance from Vinny Sangataldo. The offense backed him up with an explosive showing at the plate, overwhelming Montgomery early and never looking back. Game 2 saw another dominant outing on the mound, this time from Michael Faulls, who also went the distance in an 8-0shutout. The Cougars' pitching and defense held Montgomery in check, securing the series win on Saturday. However, Montgomery bounced back in Game 3, handing the Cougars a 12-8 loss. Despite the setback, the team’s strong performances in the first two games ensured a successful series. Next up, the Cougars will host Morris County College on Sunday, March 23, for a doubleheader. The first game is set to begin at 12 PM.
