On Monday night the Cougars snapped a 5 game skid when they defeated the visiting Dukes of RCSJ-Cumberland 66-63. It was a close game throughout and the teams went into the locker rooms at halftime tied up at 33-33. Throughou the second half each team looked like they were going to push ahead but each answered right back. Guard Tyshon Judge finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds while Mahir Sharif added 15 points. Forward Elijah Elder grabbed 9 rebounds to go along with 6 points.
Both teams look to regroup before squaring off once again on Thursday night at RCSJ-Cumberland. The Cougars need 1 more win to clinch a NJCAA Region XIX Tournament berth.
