In the 5 tournaments the Cougars Golf Team has finished third twice and second three times. On Wednesday the team traveled to Eagle Ridge Golf Course for a tournament hosted by Ocean County College. The team finished second out of the field of 5 teams, with a heart breaking 1 stroke lose to tournament host Ocean. A huge bright spot on the day was Freshman Ed Gallagher finished with a 77.

The Team will now prepare for the GSAC Championship scheduled for Monday, April 23rd at Galloping Hills Golf Course. After the GSAC Championship the team will look to qualify for the Region XIX Championship Tournament on Wednesday, May 2nd. If the team/players qualify they will then compete Monday and Tuesday May 7th and 8th for a shot at the Region XIX Championship and hopefully a berth to compete at the NJCAA National Championships June 4th - June 8th in Chautauque, NY.
