The Cougars who are currently ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA National Rankings took on Bergen CC and cruised to a 6-1 victory. The Cougars were led by Sophomore Lucas Pecegueiro who scored 2 goals and an assist. Also getting into the scoring mix for the Cougars were Tobias Rawson Paz (1 goal), Vinicius Vasconcelos (1 goal), Ismail Kaya (1 goal) and Bergen had an Own Goal. Lucas De Almeida also tallied a point with an assist.
The Sunday matchup with Harcum was canceled due to weather conditions. Next up for the Cougars will be a tough matchup at home against Essex CC who knocked off Mercer over the weekend. The game with Essex will be Tuesday 9/25 at Gloucester Township Community Park Turf Field with a 3pm start time. The Cougars lone loss this year was an OT thriller with Mercer CC.
