On Saturday, October 30th the Men's Soccer Team captured their 9th consecutive Region XIX Championship. Due to pending weather leading up to the Championship Match the location of the match was played at Rutgers University - Camden. The Cougars did not dissapoint as the #1 overall seed as they shutout the Jersey Blues from Brookdale Community College 3-0. GK Emiliano Laguna was stellar in net to earn the shutout as a trio of Freshmen Connor McGrogan, Vincent Petulla and Arda Erden each found the back of the net to secure the 9th consecutive Region XIX Championship for the Cougars. With the win the Cougars punched their ticket to compete at the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Herkimer, NY. The Cougars will head north for the tourament November 10-14.
