Controversial Lose to Brookdale

On Thursday, November  4th the Lady Cougars traveled to Brookdale for a GSAC/Region XIX Matchup. The Lady Cougars record reflects a lose but it was later found that the buzzer beater by Freshman Tatiana Johnson should have been the game tying shot but unfortunately per NCAA rules once the officials leave the court you can not change the final score. So to the dissappointment of the Lady Cougars the final score will reflect a 60-59 lose to Brookdale even though statistically it would look like 60-60. 

On the night though Freshman Tatiana recorded her 3rd consecutive double-double pouring in 18 points with 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. Sophomore Guard Alexys Kasprzak added 13 points, Freshman Idayat Adisa added 6 points and 16 rebounds, Freshman Jackelyn Duran added 4 points and 10 rebounds and off the bench Freshman Guard Nyairah Robinson scored 14 points.

The Lady Cougars now sit at 1-2 overall and will travel down to CCBC-Catonsville for a non division / non region game on Saturday.
