Lady Cougars Defeat Montco 62-37

For the second time in the Fall Semester the Lady Cougars squared off with the Mustangs of MCCC. The outcome once again was in favor of the Lady Cougars as they defeated the Mustangs 62-37. Freshman Forward Tatiana Johnson recorded another double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Jackelyn Duran added 10 points and 8 rebounds and Guard Alexys Kasprzak added 8 points, 7 assists and 3 blocks. On the season the Lady Cougars are 5-4 overall on 5-2 in Region XIX. Johnson is averaging a double-double through 9 games with 15.6 ppg and 12.6 rpg. Sophomore Alexys Kasprzak is averaging 15.3 ppg.

The Lady Cougars are back in action Saturday at noon as they host Passaic in a GSAC/Region XIX matchup.
