Kasprzak Career High leads Lady Cougars to Impressive Win!

After jumping into the Top 15 National Rankings earlier in the day the #15 ranked Lady Cougars hosted the Vikings of Ocean CC in a Region XIX / GSAC matchup. The Lady Cougars dominated from the tip on their way to a dominate 86-33 victory. Sophomore Guard Alexys Kasprzak had a career high 40 points on 15-20 shooting and 8-9 from deep. Kasprzak also added 4 rebounds and 4 assists on the night. Freshman Tatiana Johnson and Idayat Adisa each record double doubles on the night, with Johnson netting 10 points while grabbing 11 rebounds to go along with 5 assists and Adisa also scoring 10 points to go along with 14 rebounds. Another freshman Leilani Franklin filled the stat sheet with 11 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds.

The Lady Cougars will hit the road on Thursday night at 5pm to face the Spartans of Northampton CC in a National showdown. The Spartans are receiving votes in the latest National Ranks and this could be a preview of the upcoming Region XIX Tournament. Please note that Northampton is not permitting spectators and will be livestreaming the game.
