Lady Cougars Defeat Passaic CCC!

On Saturday afternoon the Lady Cougars traveled north for a NJCAA Region XIX matchup with Passaic CCC. The Cougars got back in the win column defeating Passaic 61-44 after being on a 3 game losing streak. On the day Alexys Kasprzak led all scorers with 23 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Freshman Leilani Franklin added 15 points and 5 rebounds, while Tatiana Johnson added another double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Jackelyn Duran grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.

Up next for the Cougars will be the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon CC on Monday night at home with a 5pm tipoff. Please remember there are no spectators allowed at this time.

As we go into the home stretch the Lady Cougars are currently 12-7 overall and 9-4 in Region XIX matchups. The Lady Cougars have 5 games remaining in the Regular Season and have already locked up a berth in the NJCAA Region XIX Postseason Tournament which will tenatively begin on Saturday, February 19th. Seeding for the Tournament will be conducted on Wednesday, February 16th.
