Saturday Decmeber 3rd,
After a strong showing on thursday, women's basketball came out with a dominate win on Saturday in region play with a 76-46 win over visting Bergen CC. Once again the cougars relentless defense played a key role in the voctory. The Cougars forced an impressive 41 TO including 21 steals which helped the cougars dominate throughout the game. Begren's Jaylene Ferrer lead all scorers with 25 points. Tataiana Johnson with anothe impressive stat line, 14 points 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 assist and 2 blocks. Leilani Franklin chipped in 12 points and Jecenia J Johnson dominated the boards with 10 points. The cougars will be back in action tomrrow as they visit Middlesex in a regional match-up.
