Women's Basketball advance to the Region 19 final after a 53-42 win vs Middlesex

Thursday night the Cougars took on Middlesex CC for a ticket to Region 19 final. A back and forth battle which saw Middlesex hold a 1-point league at the half. The Cougars put together a 17-12 run in the 3rd and a 21-14 run in the 4th to pull away and seal the deal. Region19 and GSAC player of the year Tatiana Johnson lead the cougars with 17 points. Leilani Franklin chipped a double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Cougars will face Northampton in the Region 19 final with a berth to NJCAA national tournament on the line. The region 19 women's championship game is slated for a 12pm start Saturday at Northampton Community College.
