Koester Nets Game Winner in Double OT

On Tuesday, September 28th the Lady Cougars hosted the Blue Colts of Middlesex College. It was a scoreless game through the beginning of the 1st half when Middlesex captialized on a turnover by the Cougars and snuck one over top of the Lady Cougars Goalie. But, less than a minute later the Lady Cougars answered back when FR Christine Keenan found the back of the net to tie the match back up at 1-1. Throughout the rest of the first half and second half the Lady Cougars had multiple oppertunities to put the game away but could not captialize on the chances until the 108th minute of the match when FR Logan Koester secured the win for the Cougars scoring the game winner in double OT. Witht he win the Cougars now sit at 4-3 on the season. Next up for the Lady Cougars will be another Region XIX match on the road at Montgomery CCC in PA on Thursday, September 30th.
