Lady Cougars Tennis Finishes 5th at NJCAA National Championship Tournament!

After finishing as the NJCAA Region XIX Runner Up for 2021, the Lady Cougars earned the right to compete in the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Peachtree City, GA from October 28-31. The Lady Cougars did not dissapoint as they finished 5th overall in the National Tournament. At 1st Singles Amanda Baliban and at 2nd Singles Allison Makowski finished 5th overall after winning out in the consolation brackets. The pair than teamed up in 1st Doubles to finish 5th overall. At 3rd Singles Barbara Marinero won her first match in the tournament but due to an injury had to retire from her second match but still managed to place 4th overall. Finally, at 5th Singles Analise Ramos who received the #2 seed in the tournament won out until the National Championship match where she fell just short and ended up as the National Runner Up and was named 2nd Team All American!
