Women's Cross Country Wins Region XIX Title!

The Cougars returned to White Clay Creek State Park for the second time this season, to compete in the Division III Region XIX Championships. The women's team has been competing with just five freshmen runners for the entire season, made school history by winning the women's championship race for the first time. Sara Loew ^* lead the way by winning the individual title with a time of 21:06 for the 5k distance. Autumn Baldini ^* followed her home with a 4th place finish in 22:51, Betzabel A. Delos Santos Trinidad * placed 6th in 23:48, Nicole Mattern * placed 8th in 23:59, and Emily Santana completed the scoring with an 11th place finish in 24:43. The women's team is currently ranked 4th in the October 17th NJCAA Division III USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll.

The men's and women's teams now go on to race in the NJCAA Division III National Championship Meet at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts on November 3rd. The men's 8k goes off at 10:00am, followed by the women's 5k at 11:15am. Good luck to the Cougars!
